Eight TB BQ dot com and when you go there -- heard about it at last. Joining me now as we sit here in the pasture as my good friend. Chris or Chris Obermann is. Well you work as a director of marketing. And in promo and media and you handle people like me -- so -- Yes yes I do guys get that here you know thanks for having -- and Chris and I -- the couple won competitions and we've been friends for quite some time and we both look great one and I love that triggered Chris happens to work in the business where they produce it. You lucky dogs. Folks know about where real. Here in mid Kansas and they know about star -- but they've -- I don't know probably no criticism about the history of this beautiful facility and as we sit in the past room here a room with. Not only assure itself but. Did as that are taken so many people that that you post here very real -- about the background of this building and its significance in the early beginnings of the only one in our country but at Napa Valley.

Sure -- merry valves located in historic building here in Napa Valley. It was the first winery built in -- valley after the repeal of prohibition in 1933. So dates back to then. Back in Wisconsin -- Carolina and party initial ownership include shares are Mondavi news rademan obvious father and mrs. The building or Robert Peter. Learn how to make -- before going to do other things that Charles Cruz and Robert Mondavi whiners so historic building here and.

And as we look around if these beams could talk of these beautiful high volume oak barrels from Europe could talk. They've probably seen so much and -- mean it it it's in this building somewhere work. Mr. Mondavi and his brother -- came to blows Elizabeth.

I had enough this is correct path and a I would like to address that at least the public -- it's somewhere in this building. Titled say it's beautiful here in the casket and there's. 42000. Gallons German -- for manners and some very vertical building and it's one of the reasons our wind that was one of the most popular wine clubs. In the valley we do great winemaker dinners there over these parties holiday dinners and it's always a really really fun time here that people usually never forget. Let's talk about the leaders -- though ownership and and make you wonder where real pretty pretty. The young history in the big scheme of things but as far as the -- concern. A pretty deep history sure yeah we're family owned by this -- family and irony slider is running the business and he's a great guy. The wind that put -- on the business' profile and that's back in with in 1983 vintage Mandel started just making one line it was a board though. The red lions can always cabernet based. And was really the best point that we can put together in any given vintage and it's -- continues to ban to be just awesome. And we're talking back in 83 this was before the category of meritage came about this was just somebody trying to make a line that. Would compete worldwide with anything but most importantly was the best you can break from here in the Napa Valley. That's right and it's kind of like the sensibilities from Bordeaux where they just would make one line and it did Natalie rose just be Napa Valley red lines that we do plan. And we can put whatever we want to and it's to make what we think is going to be the very best bottle line and possibly -- Later in the program we're gonna talk to Sean Foster one maker will tell you about some of these great one former real but. Chris let's talk a little about the it where it all starts you guys have access systems spectacular effort. You wouldn't be doing what you're doing tells about the vineyards that Mary guerrillas xmas to you that we have we have 3 --

State vineyards around the jewel in the crown is our Saint -- estate vineyard which is located in Saint Helena about a thousand feet above the town. On the east east wall of -- Key West facing east side and we just get really plush fruit from that. Vineyard it's harmed by David a group who farms a lot of the cult cab lines in Napa Valley. And that is after -- he gives us this truth that is just optimal brightness. And it makes beautiful line.

Beautiful -- some. The winery has always been on the leading edge of technology when it from the first however is -- told today when we walk through. The stainless steel room where. Used to be there was these big 2000 that are bigger cylinder -- stainless steel takes things have changed a little bit. News tells about the gap.

Well we did we redid some of the facilities here about five years ago and I would bots 32 brand new -- for managers which are very very precise in managing. For mutations in temperatures are also space sufficient cause were locked into the town of Saint -- now. And before going to get that from answer we have purchased a lot of new equipment for sorting so we are sorting. The grapes five times at the cluster level as a shaker table below or we also have people pulling it out when it's just individual -- and we're trying to remove what's called mod the material and losing grapes so the end result is these whole mostly on broken barriers. That was then gravity feed so we don't break them up during -- and beat up the fruit the gravity feed it into the top of these for manners so the idea is. The -- kind of go to the spot if you will from other hand picked -- vineyard their multiple sort. Gravity fed in these for manners were trying to be. His gentle as we can to get these soft beautiful expressive lines up.

In an you know I anybody has come out to one country look they've they they're probably -- with the were bugler press these big. Big -- in most is big cylindrical stainless steel press with a Blatter and side. You guys have. Kind of back to the future back to the past duke -- press felt about that that.

Sets of his equipment have for a couple years we're very proud of it's is the same concept is as an old wind screw them screw it down and press on the must to squeeze on the line. Well this just as it's. Automatically we dial any amount of pressure. In -- very precise in terms of pressure so we can. Kind of we're not getting too much extracts in terms of hand and in color exchanges he would get it just right. So we wanna make a Big Ten cabernet we can do it like that if we wanna make a lighter more elegant you know we can do that as well.

And for those you were not -- the idea here is there's three run Jews when the great report in two a tank. They naturally weigh upon themselves and -- used to come out. And generally for an -- was considered one of the best best -- to start with. But does that mean that anything that says they're on the losses and it lasted just different and then as you press the months the left over Craig skins and if concede. You did do greed of pressure you put on that must. It equates to different -- levels and a stringent sees. Based on that skin contact must and and how hard you push on so you can get second third important presses. And each one tends to have a whole different characteristic. And then Chris you mentioned these stainless steel tanks to me. The combination of these two different things give Sean Foster one maker her -- such a beautiful -- that came with when he scored that final -- together.

That's right I was like to draw an analogy with a great chef and has this whole spice cabinet all these different things and whatever type of wind is trying to make he can reach up to the spice cabinet. -- deal with different flavors we use barrels and that way we keep -- separates in these small for -- so. He can reach up to the spice cabinet and take something maybe some very tanning petite very -- with the perfumes cabernet Franck. Was -- seamer low and cabernet and crafted into this beautiful lines so it's just all schools that so winemakers use to make them do their craft.

What a treat I know that. You haven't been too which talk lately about we're gonna fix that and hopefully in the next year so you're gonna see someone maker dinners associated with the midwest one -- and and I hope you come to town and oh yeah you've been here a long time -- in the one -- love to have you both come to which. And who will entertain folks with the opportunity no way to learn about the one but. That tasting of it is the fun part which have been doing today well thank you for that my pleasure guys I can't wait that's with top probably in 2013. -- we're gonna take a break we come back we're -- top -- one maker Sean Foster Sean young guy who has been making. A huge impact here at Maryville and you know I -- Jews who went through so my old one magazines and he has most of -- have to keep tomorrow's get married have put them in the recycling bin and I happen to stumble long wanted head the best the best Napa Valley and I started -- through and there's two pages worth -- have. Merry go ones on them and I think the lowest rated one was a 93 prematurely -- 95 and above. Whether -- mega -- wanted to do it say about those once Oscar -- about star month. Thanks guys great act agreed to adhere to its. -- it is it is on. The staff and the whole process I started. Sort of my career in that actually merry go. In in the cellar. To -- work my way up a the latter that man now it's great to the kind of part of the team winemaking team and and working with living proof all the way through two bodily men and you meet great people like Q -- and a it's always it's been it's been fun journey.

Here they eat this journey and to start where you did and work your way. Has to be ultra satisfying for you. But what really must be fun to be as part of -- leadership here and the owners. And watch you get here from a cellar rat. And turn into what you have done today. And to taste and enjoy the ratings in the sales of the product should make it must be gratifying for you but really fun for them.

That I came out I hope so and I surely in did you I have. Personally have high expectations and I know -- owners there they'll do to him and I think so that it goes -- things that I -- say. There might. I had passing committed in this business I'd love love the business alliance that's great thanks and great role models you know ended early on and accurately. I'm inspired me to to really should you do best it possibly can.

Let's let's talk about some of them. Some of the -- you have access to -- in a little bit about the Napa Valley in general you know everybody knows -- Napa as the big name place where one come from and and in June in our country and it and rightly so it is. It has so many different micro climates in different soil types and different regions you are right here in the heart of it gives your thoughts on. On growing up in the one business and make you won here in Napa.

Yet it has said that in Napa Napa house. Phenomenal. Phenomenal radio both from its soil types micro climates and we can you know it it's it's unique I think in the world that it in in the world -- have weakened to make everything from Chardonnay pinot. On one end the rally to two. Cabernet and and and you know that it in the upper into the valley and really do a phenomenal job and it's not because. There's nothing to do with Swiss -- for save past -- back. -- that the geology to geography. Where we are in proximity to that and a Pacific Ocean in the basin. The different influences and and things that happened. With our soils in a million years ago to kind of create this this diverse array of so soils. And so the network worked really blessed to be here then. And I our challenge is winemakers and then vineyard and winery owners is this really. Figure out where we can do the best. In this in this area you know going forward -- it's been a huge change in the last forty years as far as. Your recent think that we euros Chardonnay cabernet -- side by side and then we realize that maybe. Cabernet is much better suited to up now they were little warmer Chardonnay -- she's got some you know does really well south where. This is a little cooler and man to see these changes over you know over couple decades them. It's been really -- into an -- we're kind of in a place where. We're doing I think a really good job. You know across across the board.

Units that it's that history in that learning that takes place that really when you think about it in the big scheme of one making worldwide in historically -- It's happened at a fairly short period of time. And impact I'm fond of telling people whether it's folks in my division one classes -- there -- any idea we have events there's never been a better time to be a -- consumer. Not only because of what we make here which leads the world. But because of the global one market there's never been a better time where folks are making bride to be correct high quality ones without fault. I think it's is just amazing and and your good part of that stuff.

Thanks I think. I think it also goes you know discount him and with that processor the Renaissance food to -- into people's appreciation of food and wine and how those things complement each other and and I think winemakers recognizing that that it's not all about them and there you go and and and now we're trying to it to make products that that that pair well with food you know especially for the bulk of what. We've actually produce and then the other handful winds that that we you know we wanted to produce better. Great with food or standalone too but -- it's it's so I think it is great to see what's happening I think you know across across our country -- With the real passion for for just. Good life socially you I like.

We've put that in this true and it it is it's so much more than just one or just food it's that combination and -- enthusiasm about them. Let's talk about the space. In this building that has so much history and Chris talk about the size and then in their church and your pre. As we progress and it caused some things and I think really have -- huge dividend in every sense of the word that. We've we've started making some white ones and the storm label Dunn and Carter tells about the new facility and and -- what that's meant for you is the head of the one making it.

Two things it we have. Bill owners Marysville where were committed -- to both -- on are committed both storm on and merry go and in 2006 we we designed built winery in in coroner asked what was karma facility. And at facilities really focused on making all of our storm outlines. To we maker Chardonnay some of long cab. Below and actually this you're gonna start with the storm Tokyo that facility. And dislocated and in kind of let's say that the eastern end of -- is right on in the NAFTA side of -- us. Beautiful state of the art facility it's got great flexibility. We can make everything from small lot you know small lots of Chardonnay pinot too. It's two you know a little bit larger. For us lots. But Chardonnay and and cabin and and do it all really well and and and with a high degree of detail and end. So there there is a huge investment from Maryville in this and it a lot of people might. -- just outsource the -- make -- sign of things to focus the attention on on this golf on the marketing side of things Mary goes to a community. Being a quality producer long term so I think debt. That I guess that that you know speaks at that we have two facilities -- poll. World class. Facilities for for production and that really the heart of what we're doing is we are. We are growing fruit where they were making wine and tried to do that so consistently and to the highest highest level of all we -- your career and we're looking. We're looking you know decades out right Republicans may not look good for mark so yeah. Well I look for where we come -- one story and see abolish storm and Guerrero Kelly who would need to be right if we didn't mention Graham let's talk about. You're your partner and one making your it doesn't look grim grim is our winemaker for with with very -- is actually. Experts who we were very team oriented when he gets out. Grams or winemaker of saline and offensively we make are we focus our attention on merry go Bordeaux reds that are living from. Profile at the very high end. All the way through the Maryville Bordeaux red. -- so our cabs -- kept Bronx all the small little club winds we make. But then beyond that -- part of our larger winemaking. Team and that's -- we make a strong winds in Munich to Maryville Chardonnay is the miracle. Graham and and and I. And art my sister winemaker Michael that that's -- all work together as winemaking team. In crafting crafting the wines -- together these all the wires together we talk about it we work through things. Talk about everything from did years all the way through the winemaking process and really the goal is is you know we're we wanna be one we think you know more ideas you are are better. And and then if we have -- let's say disagreements for real difference of opinions -- is we've worked through we talk together we work through it week week. Under consensus as far as you know what we think should be done.

It seems to be working well for you. You guys don't make lines to get ratings. And as a consumer I don't buy wines just based on ratings. But we both know it never hurts. I don't think anybody's head as good of -- of ratings for the last several years as Mary -- and as huge bump. He would be getting mine salinity you know in the high eighties and low ninety's. A lot of wine makers do that last couple years ago has been bounced the park. With the mid ninety's and higher. It's got to be a real pleasure for you and attribute to that whole teamwork process and the whole collective aspect of what -- Rose Harmon does. And I can't wait to share with our listeners a little bit about some of the lines that we have available after this short break. It's such a pleasure which we're here make plans to come and visit and if you come to the Napa Valley make sure that you stop by. And visit our all star Madonna south and in the eastern part of partnership but. Have come up to central valley and come to Mary relative few who actually with great history Sean when we left we do we gave we've talked throughout history of the buildings. This is the 20107 new book and I jury -- 2097 -- pleasure in March got huge awards this one's even better you do it tells about the seminal book.

You know I I -- we love we love Minnesota Walken and dot. For some real blog we we source up and down the valley so we're not to source and one section of the ballot resource and we source cooler climate more moderate climate and a little warmer climate threat Napa Valley some of walks bridal it has a lot of character. They can run the gamut from being tropical man. And attempt to citrus and now when to kind of herbal and man attack and it Italy and all these things agree a lot of Green fruit and it's -- we wanna kind of capture wind has got a lot of all that varietal character and so by sourcing cool moderate and warmer climate me. The goal -- to try and pull all of us together. I'm would you culmination of some whole cluster fruit -- expressing some skin contact Christie's is little more time. With the skins the Jews in in combination here to sit together as a bit of soup. And and then we press off after and those those different techniques allow us to extract different characteristics. We really want a nice -- matter wind it's got to have good the city the vibrancy and really good length. Not be bitter and just kind of deliver really nice nice. -- and I'm not afraid of it have a touch of the you know little herbal quality I'm not looking for the Green but I'm looking for like a nice fresh you know fresh herbal quality and I think. I think we we. I think we got it in toward -- recovery.

You're got a tornado and in 2009 and -- out of the ballpark and putting -- in in in two minutes you described. How you put this one together. Which we could probably talk in -- for two hours because some of the little things you mentioned ho cluster and and in in that how you produces one make such an impact. And it makes especially with seven your blog it makes sense -- tolls. Classic bridal standout. But then it put your hand on it. Whether it you know -- has a little bit poker know whether it's all stainless Steelers. All those things and one of the things I think you've done in 09 and intend and does make a one that is just so. Perfect whether it's -- a -- deeper with orasure shirk her Hershey Foods -- fiber and Chris with the acidity. It's the quintessential seven you'll walk at a great price in the storm -- labels. So for that thank you Annette well 2010 in the -- the eleven in your taken. Almost says or better. I -- could be better -- I think we're -- at 2010 and and needed to actually better when it and great great finish let him walk when. When I got my glass and the end of which I'm prone to do on a regular basis and fairly rapid and no one else with me. That it is sticking my nose -- that empty glass and and and enjoy all those different -- without the influence of alcohol that's in the one. Made the aromatic. And seven no -- for equality just at the top of the list and just so. Vibrant and you can almost smell the acidity and but all in balance in his new beautiful job and this is available premature in our country that -- star Montel William what a beautiful job. Com to get way to try to eleven that'll be fun. Next we get Chardonnay. Whether it's star my former -- you guys have always had a great Chardonnay program and I think storm on value for money. Brings. Typical high quality California Chardonnay -- a great price let's talk about the O nine and almost he's still not in the ten together -- to compare contrast.

I don't talk in general I don't know I didn't and ten Kazaa and really not so different as far as what we do. But more there's we're gonna see more of expression of the detention and the year difference but. These ones are both the combination of fermentation. In stainless -- wells barrel. They're great sourcing comes from the cooler part of Napa so. From oak -- would be about the nor most northern in -- we've ago enemy we go into cart aero side -- very cool near San Pablo bay. And a couple dinners that are a little bit on the Kennedy side. -- almost -- cool. We really liked the cooler climate. Four for Chardonnay it's just producing great. Produces great winds with -- group with great acidity. Did a Roma profile -- to see. A lot of citrus tropical we still get some of the apple compare notes from oak Knoll and some of that kind of goes into and into a corner us as well. And really what we're trying to do with with us -- Chardonnay is to really. Preserve that that sort of aspect of -- character was Chardonnay and then enhance that with just a little bit of hope we're not trying to add. -- to make if we don't know -- here we're we're at that in our view is at the -- should be complementary to the to the wind. Shouldn't be the star of the show -- support actor so to speak. And so we're adding just just enough to lift the fruit to -- body. -- stays for about nine months ten months and the portion as a barrel on the other forces and take. Stays -- of time and in arcing integrity and -- goes -- goes to -- we want to. Touch creamy in this third -- amount lactic. It is done by a by -- and it's by acidity so. Kind and very little -- years we might go to a little bit more acidity are little more now lactic. In warmer years maybe not as much we want to retain. Kind of natural that he with the swine and but we're also not a bit Mel octaves and offer -- it's just purely for balance and -- so. Okay.

Dismayed please you're not that I think it should. -- ones are stellar and the fun part is. The differences subtle if at all I I don't think I could pick either out of a lineup. As the 09 over the ten. Which I I don't know I think if I made -- in and they're both spectacular. I'd be thrilled with that because consistency. At this price point is something that I value. I wanna notified by this one it's gonna be it's gonna have all the bells and whistles but in moderation. Like you said and not huge joke just beautiful balance and great acidity and just it's just screaming for. Sit on the balcony have as a -- deep or better yet think of all the things you could put him through was with this one and magnificent.

Yet I think that is compliment I Heidi it's really are our goal with this wind is to make a wind that is might it hasn't solve all your beard. Variations were not trying to we know we're not certainly -- can. Coca-Cola here bat bat we are trying to make a style wind that is consistent -- that that consumer knows. That when they go to get a bottle they they know what they're gonna -- and if they like it they can you know we're consistent on. They can they can go and grab a bottle and know that they're gonna have a good experience and that's.

He's just a question do briefly. Everybody says you know how how long how old of -- has shown to be drinking and I am a big fan -- student. Out of fresh. Chardonnay and -- whom I know there's other fans Mike Goodrich and I have trickled one together going way back. Have you had some old storm on products old Chardonnay that you had a hand in that. Evolves and gets better know when that most Airways symmetric it'd probably should -- early. I think at the way these -- so in balance and so tuned it seems like if something was gonna age white wine. You could take this for your -- stove and a great product.

I think that's definitely is I've had some older Chardonnay charmer charts that have been great and I think. It is often -- the it's if your interest and that is I would look to more the advantage of its cooler vintage with more natural so you know vibrant national center the I think those days longer. Warmer than it is a republic had a drink those up sooner but I think Al we're not. We are not doing anything to the -- that would make it fall off a cliff sooners it's mere. They purely an expression of did it finish in that regard. It's just a -- ginger which tell we have you know on the shelf -- in the pipeline I'm sure we'll have little shall soon and -- spectacular so great so you'll long -- Chardonnay. About the auto -- cabernet. Boy out of beauty. I stick my nose -- and -- some tell us about this sir 08 was pretty pretty interesting vantage for for cabin Napa. I turned out to be LA. In the end kind of a warm warm finish at the tail end and of harvest there were some. Jefferson challenges in the early part. And but what what turned out as we ended up -- some cabernet from now by that. Are quite. As were talking earlier maybe a bit on the hedonistic side they're they're pretty. -- fruity. They're right they're not but they're not over right they are just on me. If you think about like really right black fruits red fruits of that are vine ripe for like picks you have just at a really. And right stays off the -- and Andy you have to either right there because they are so right that's kind of where this is you know. I think for me these points straddling that the ten and quality is really quite good exceptional concentration is really quite good. I think it was really a very good candidates for heard -- cab. And a very. Let's say a -- and I think others lot of -- but it's also elect I think they're going to be pretty fun drinking early early on to play I know that.

07 -- year -- got a lot of press are -- de Mora had no weights I'm justice -- maybe -- some degree more so. Because of the balance and the pin in this one. You can get them as Jacob -- should ensure anything if you're not near one of the great Jacob leadership location -- local retailer though is once can be ordered. Or most of them can be ordered her real storm month. We'll sit in the classroom at Maryville in the heart of Napa Valley. One maker Shawn falters -- to spend an inordinate amount of time with us we're gonna talk about three of the best ones from Maryville. People aren't we had a great ones today Sean let's talk about this. It -- he he's just you can't make a better term -- West Coast the you know that what you've put in this bottle Mary Bell. 2010 -- nor coming about it.

Thanks. I did we had a great -- great finish after you know it's funny Tony -- Were fortunate to have a really nice state vineyard and -- Arabs that we it's kind of a core. Or foundation of the swine in the to that we augment and other current heiress. You know dinners and trying to blend together to make great -- wind we are not trying to make the world's most extraction you know we're trying to make outlook as we don't think. That's that's the best doesn't use of our fruit -- about what we can make. There we think we can do it good job with is making a very as an air manic expressive wind lot of fruit with some earth a bit of T. I've been a morality and then the vibrant pass it on the palate. Medium body good lengths no bitterness you know I think we're really distracts. This wind now as -- basically a combination of open top fermentation punched down. Some close hopper -- cases -- lot of made these fermentation. Some inoculated. Native now -- sits on the lease for a little bit of time has stirred kind of like a Chardonnay to add body. And then now kind of blended early in in March and we let it -- barrels goes back to prosper. About six more months that we bottle and find on filtered very kind of naturally made wine we'd like it this wind. To be very expressive of vintage location of site. And a man to and -- did very transparent source.

They -- you've mentioned a lot of things and folks I'd love to tell you up every detail about some of the technical aspects of charges explained. If you take -- one -- WG you know he's talked about if you don't drop me an email I will explain it to you in depth. But everything you said those two putting huge quality into a bottle at a fair price and what. The 2010 -- from where -- Out of the park. Out of the park. -- let's take over Dutch unite both know that we're big fans of big bold red ones are our fans of all one but. Let's talk about this though a cab. I. I can't believe nobody's been renting as they do with those seven about the vintage. Because the market said earlier the moral way -- that -- the more impressed I have tells about the merry go away cap.

This kind of -- keyed off where we we were talking about this from a cab all I'll take it from there. Again -- he was one of those this is where it looks like it wasn't that on the on Paper wasn't looking like a textbook minutes -- perfect finish. But it's one of those villages that with through certain challenges and and whether it just turned out to be quite. Exceptional and there was one kind of kept us winemakers on the seat of her and bit and did it managers but in the end it turned out great and there's no difference where we between Marion Jones karma merry -- we're talking read very small lot cabernet is a come from. He'll sign or really -- real. Well drain soils choice well plots throughout Napa Valley. And it is supposed to be -- representation of the best. That we can do with you know cabernet from Napa Valley are brought appellation. And it's our best effort and and we spend a lot of the time and attention in the vineyard. As well as as time and attention in the -- wanna grams babies. And I think it shows beautifully and I in 2000 in a really really happy with the result. Lost through concentration. Losses to start very. Beautiful -- spoke notes kind of seamless throughout the palate but lost concentration depth. Right but not override just added pew -- church.

It's an expression that -- it you know it everywhere I think actually -- five years ago when Napa was the place. And now there's so many applications and you wonder why they want to do that because you're so much variety. Of this put a Napa label on this. Brings so much back to what that was all about no matter where the ABA is because this is when you think about Napa Valley cab regardless of Arabia. This is right the populace of what you'd like to pay foreign debt that had beautiful job it is incredible hum. We both like -- the red ones. Profile but very real on the map years ago. I thought the 07. And -- real profile one this beautiful Bordeaux style blended red one was the best I've ever had. And then today we have VOA -- me a bottle we'll wait a while back at the exit and soon to release it's everyone. It's not gonna say they no longer that sits over that when the Garland -- I get home this is probably. One of the best red ones I have ever had their token is gonna settle a bit like I'm blowing air your skirt here. But it's probably one of the better -- ever had from the West Coast bar none and maybe ever. But that's an over lunch and I -- this in -- way the positive way that it should've come across. I'd love to have some first growth French winemakers with their best lines of this decade here with us in the caste group. And tasting their 121 with this women there and we could have our own judgment of Maryville. 2000 and age profile is probably one of the best one Germany congratulations. The blowjobs and candidates are that's just the way it is there.

Today thanks I. BI is is honestly when my money favorite adding their two profiles I -- I would benchmark debt being look at top my list and that's it 2008 match in 94 and man. I really really love this wind and again is -- grams babies -- it represents. Commitment from from the from the slaughter family owners Maryville. Two -- vineyard that is impeccably management was implanted impeccably. And cared for impeccably for basically a decade and in 2008 were -- to differs about of that effort labor money etc. And it really it's -- found -- that -- is the core foundation. We oversee it who with a very fine tooth comb that we pay attention to you know attention to detail barn on for the swine. But in the end of the date of the route into what really separates I think. I pedigree vineyards throughout throughout Napa. And throughout the world are and especially talk about -- not just that -- concentration but -- finance and Tannen and I think what we see in this line. You know beautiful aerobatics. Beautiful seamless on the palate and it is really really soft supple -- Canon's. The most -- why this is the most by far the most had a point we've had since -- today but it does not for me doesn't come across that way just it is silky. And but but yet it is the biggest you know analytically we measure it its biggest by the doesn't come across though it's it's it's. Beautifully craft edit it appears the crafted it and bad but it's really not it's it really is an expression. The best that we can do we. Their production of this wind it's. Only dependent upon our best what we can do -- that donors to the inactive assists and had one in Venice where we haven't produced in April while we felt could do it. Yeah and and so it's a reflection of our our efforts in the -- the minutes and then.

It's the flagship -- very well your your head. As I mentioned earlier pulled out some pages through -- why it is newsmagazine from from last year and -- 2000 April Bob Napa Valley -- this is -- an inexpensive one new roof ballpark Rico 165 bucks. That someday we can dig up a bottle of 08 annual meeting -- consider and enjoy it I'll be really old Samantha cannot. Prop my wheelchair up against that they will but man -- yet I think this one has every bit of opportunity to be one of the noteworthy ones two decades from now. And the best part about it is. I don't think I can never keep it that long so you're gonna have to do it -- to come find you Sean Foster what are congress' spent time as a -- some great food and enjoy it's a great one here very real. Thanks -- I'll bring strong for that perfect at it and if I can't eat your problem that bad I just sit there watching guys bring it right -- just smell and I'll be happy.
