Sunday morning at eight on -- and assess and you can hear a podcast on our web site can -- a radio dot com. 60 -- the morning on news radio thirteen thirty K and -- time for a first look at traffic were dead chambers and yet if Ted is any indication. --

Well that's not entirely correct that I just got a call from a traffic travel really rebound went out there -- excellent holiday here from traffic tracker Randy -- gas price out there -- give us a cult like what effort from -- that's right at. Holiday effort really appreciated at 237. When he first and ridge says Randy so thank NN jives with what I'm seeing in. Throughout most of the city NC a lot of T thirty sevens after a quick trip seemed to be at 2:37 this morning at last check also. -- well -- and lower to 37 -- couple lower ones out there to 36 hydraulic and Harry also edit. Infinite that at ridge road in maples a T 46 -- into 37. Pretty much everywhere else and that's that's actually continually down. A little bit so if we're gonna see a rise before the holiday weekend where we're not seeing it right now.

Well we're here -- holiday weekend is here. We were earlier that download -- agency to don't know the with a -- Let's check in McCain has just meteorologist bill -- delusional. Good morning bill Morgan State -- I think we had euros shower earlier off to the east of Wichita saw some lightning to the east as I was coming in this morning.

Yes big band of storms is still over there but pushing off to the east southeast actually this little band of showers and thunderstorms stretching from -- not far from Hogue Grand Island, Nebraska. Around in a big dark past -- Lawrence in all the way down the Joplin Missouri. And now we've been down to let Fayetteville Arkansas but that's all off to our east and moving away today so it looks like we're hot and humid for our Friday. Middle maybe even upper ninety's within reach today. But mother nature is change the forecast a little bit once again in his brought back the cooler temperatures for our upcoming holiday weekend. It does now look like a cool front is gonna make a right that -- late tonight and tomorrow morning. So thunderstorms that get going eastern Colorado western Nebraska should come away overnight and that should drop temperatures back to near 75 morning. And we may start which some rain and thunder tomorrow morning but that activity should settle off to the east and south in goal way we should dry and clear a little for the afternoon. And then back to talking about middle eighties on our fourth of July holiday Steve. Clouds and -- Sunday mid to upper eighties and that with a good deal of sunshine in the forecast we slowly creep back up toward middle ninety's. As we head toward Wednesday Thursday the upcoming week. So -- cool front is gonna try to come through and everything now points toward the timing late tonight tomorrow morning should be some rain and thunder coming on by. And then not as warm for our holiday weekend and with the drop in temperature there should be a little drop in humidity once again as well. Currently 73 with a 62 dew point. In a breeze out of the southeast and that activity overnight either us sliding by or north they're developing off toward north to northeast. And moving away so we're trying to quiet day. But what side radar now. Well. -- the -- of the weather radar looks Dallas what we may be dealing with in the late night and early morning hours coming up about 1824 hours.

for today though. Up around 99 for high.

Listening to legislative update with senator Dick Kelsey senator Kelsey provides insights on issues and policies not only facing legislators but citizens across Kansas. Now here's senator Dick Kelsey.

Tomorrow we celebrate the signing of the declaration of independence. In July of 1776. When 56 men who signed this document. They knew they were risking their fortunes and even their lives. Ben Franklin declared to the group gentlemen we either hang together or we hang alone. Most people believe that everyone back in colonial days wanted to be free of England.

That was not the case. Actually about a third of the colonists wanted to continue our connection to England. About another third just wanted to be left alone and not take sides on the issues.

About a third of the population of that time wanted to do what was necessary to be free of England. What was necessary to make that declaration of independence or reality was a long and difficult war. The American revolution took many years involved much suffering. And was finally won only because of leaders like George Washington. Who were willing to stay in the fight regardless of the personal cost. Today we face the same problem in the cause of freedom. Only a minority are willing to get involved and paying the price to keep.

What our founding fathers gave us. All of us should share word of gratitude to those who have served or are serving in the military. Alternate -- great personal sacrifice. In an effort to preserve our freedoms. All of -- should speak out when we see our freedoms being eroded by an ever encroaching government. As we celebrate the fourth of July let's thank god for the great country and tremendous freedom he has blessed -- switch.

You know the question is how and when not if I think there's going to be something that's going to happen.

The question is how soon will it be and under what conditions will it happen so I think we deserve the truth and it does matter if our government is truthful -- or not honesty. She goes to coast AM overnights on news radio thirteen thirty -- and SS. --

As soon as they can get out from under Obama's fault. In fact -- hurry to repay the money is so great that the government has already earned over six billion dollars in so called profits. You're listening to legislative update with senator Dick Kelsey senator Kelsey provides insights on issues and policies not only facing legislators but citizens across Kansas. Now here's senator Dick Kelsey.

Tomorrow we celebrate the signing of the declaration of independence. In July of 1776. When 56 men signed this document.

Only a minority are willing to get involved and pay the price to keep. What our founding fathers gave us. That's your chair word of gratitude to those who have served or are serving in the military. Alternate -- great personal sacrifice. Effort to preserve our freedoms.
